Since the 1st international fair of contemporary art (FIAC) in the former metro station of the Bastille in 1974, then the incorporation of the FIAC denomination at the Grand Palais in 1974 after the failure of the project at the Orsay’s metro station in 1977, the fair which greatly involved manage to acquire both the credibility and the legitimacy to invest the most magnificent sites in Paris.
